Signed by the prestigious Girard-Perregaux manufacture, this Laureato Absolute Light & Shade presented in 2023 is produced with a 44 mm case made entirely of metallized sapphire, cut and polished from the mass, offering total transparency on the mechanics. The lugs and crown are made of titanium with black PVD treatment. The bezel and caseback are also in sapphire, underlining the three-dimensional architecture of this exceptional timepiece. The watch is mounted on a black rubber strap with textile effect, fitted with a black PVD titanium folding clasp with micro-adjustment system. Water-resistance is guaranteed to 30 meters.

It features caliber GP01800-1143, a self-winding mechanical movement composed of 172 elements and entirely designed and manufactured by the Maison. It oscillates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, features 25 jewels and offers a 54-hour power reserve. Visible down to the smallest detail thanks to complete skeletonization, this caliber boasts exemplary finishing: treated and sand-blasted bridges, hand-polished angles, gold openworked oscillating weight and variable-inertia balance.

The skeletonized dial gives way to a floating structure composed of indexes worked into the peripheral metal mass and rhodium-plated faceted hands, all Super-Luminova treated. The off-center small seconds at 10 o'clock underscore the asymmetrical balance of the design.
