Self-winding chronograph watch, caliber 1041 Lemania 1340 base, composed of 22 jewels and offering a 40-hour power reserve. Steel case 42 mm in diameter with steel bracelet and steel Omega folding clasp.

Black dial with double counter: small seconds counter and day/night indicator at 9 o'clock, date window at 3 o'clock. Luminescent hands and hour markers. Bezel engraved with tachometer.

The Speedmaster 125 was launched in 1973 to celebrate Omega's 125th anniversary. It is powered by caliber 1041, a chronometer version of caliber 1040. Its chronometer certification made it the first COSC-certified automatic chronograph. It is estimated that only 2,000 were made. Although not directly perceptible in the specifications, the 125 features a rather massive case. The strap is similar to that found on the more recent Seamaster "Albatros". It measures 26 mm at the case and tapers to 15.5 mm at the clasp.
