To celebrate the 5th anniversary of #SpeedyTuesday, the 1978 Speedmaster "Alaska Project III" has been reimagined with a matte-finish case featuring an anti-reflective treated crystal and an easy-to-read dial adorned with large radial numerals on the counters.

The "inverted panda" style dial features opaline silvered counters on a black background and a black aluminum ring. It is embellished with an applied rhodium-plated vintage Omega logo, Super-LumiNova-coated hour markers and luminescent ink-coated indications and counters. At the center of the domed hesalite crystal is the Omega logo.

The screw-down caseback is decorated with the words "SPEEDY TUESDAY ANNIVERSARY - A TRIBUTE TO ALASKA PROJECT III", as well as the limited edition number (X/2012). It also bears the words "RADIAL". Mounted on a vintage brown leather strap, the watch is presented in a special case containing a spare NATO strap. It is powered by the Omega caliber 1861.
