Black dial with luminescent hour markers and hour and minute hands. Central date hand with red triangular tip. Sapphire crystal and screw-down steel caseback engraved with limited edition number and Waldenburgerbahn abbreviation "WB".

The Waldenburgerbahn Limited Edition is a jet-black edition of the famous pointer-type date complication, created to celebrate the railroad that enabled Oris to flourish in the Waldenburg valley from the earliest days of watchmaking. The WB, as it is known, was inaugurated in 1880 and linked the valley's small Swiss villages (such as Oris's hometown of Hölstein) with each other and with larger industrial centers such as Basel. The railroad enabled Oris, and many other watchmaking and engineering companies, to develop at a pace that would have been impossible without the train linking them to the rest of the world. The Waldenburgerbahn has recently been modernized, and Oris has taken the opportunity to launch a commemorative watch on a platform directly linked to its long history.
