New watch with box, counter box and original Swatch warranty certificate. This watch, NEW MOON, is entirely black in honor of the new moon, from which it takes its name. The case, crown and pushers are in bioceramic, while the strap is in VELCRO©. The chronograph seconds hand, counter hands and tachymeter bezel are white. The counters and bezel back are black. This model is distinguished by its black moon-phase function, arguably the most poetic of all watch complications. On the moon-phase disc that rotates in the counter positioned at 2 o'clock, we see Snoopy, NASA's safety ambassador since the 60s, lying on the Moon. Under UV light, a hidden quote from the Snoopy comic strip is revealed among the crescent moons and stars. All dials bear the OMEGA X SWATCH, Speedmaster and MoonSwatch logos. Common to all models is the construction of the curved biosourced glass, the "S" engraved in the center of the glass in reference to the Swatch logo, the fine, sophisticated circular pattern on the outer ring of the dial and the recessed counters, the clean yet smooth construction of the borders, the typical "dot over 90" detail on the bioceramic tachometric bezel and, of course, the unique bioceramic feel. Indexes, hour and minute hands and the tip of the chronograph seconds hand are coated with Super-LumiNova® Grade A to glow in the dark.
