This new version of the Black Bay 58 is thus still in keeping with the brand's historic aesthetic, while incorporating elements characteristic of a TUDOR prototype from the 1990s, a diver's watch bearing the reference 79190. This prototype featured a burgundy dial with a satin finish and matching bezel. Although it was never produced at the time, its evocation now lives on in the form of a brand-new Black Bay 58. The burgundy unidirectional rotating bezel is easy to handle and its insert features delicately curved numerals aligned with the curvature of the ring.
