Jaeger "Récital" table clock - Rue de la Paix

This Jaeger "Récital" table clock is a singular piece with a retro aesthetic inspired by Parisian street lamps, paying homage to the Rue de la Paix, a mecca for French watchmaking and jewelry.

The round dial features black Roman numerals on an ivory background. Baroque-style openworked hands are driven by a hand-wound mechanical movement housed in a gilded case with polished bezel. At 12 o'clock, a semicircular window numbered from 1 to 12 allows the alarm time to be set.

The satin-finished gold back features the various settings. The whole rests on a tubular base in green-lacquered metal, topped by a blue enamelled "Rue de la Paix" plaque, a direct reference to the world of Parisian luxury.
